Children's vibrant celebration at SM Seaside, showcasing unity and hope.

In 2021, the children from the Mandaue School of Arts gathered at the refreshing, sea-breeze-kissed SM Seaside, a setting that seemed to echo the lively spirit of their performance. With the shimmering ocean as a backdrop and the gentle winds carrying their voices into the open sky, they brought to life the song "Kasadya," a vibrant expression of joy and celebration. Their performance was not just music—it was an outpouring of hope, passion, and unity.

This was not their first time standing tall in the spotlight. Back in 2018, the same group of gifted children had emerged as the Grand Prize winners of the Handog sa Pasko Regional Level competition, a fierce contest where countless talented performers vied for the top spot. The air was thick with competition, but like the waves that never stop crashing against the shore, these young artists remained steady and resilient, rising above the challenge with determination and grace.

Under the expert musical arrangement of Fr. Rudy Villanueva and the guidance of their conductor and trainer Arnold Rosaroso Vale, the children’s voices blended harmoniously, creating a sound as pure and uplifting as the very air they breathed at the seaside. Their success was not merely a result of talent, but the culmination of hard work, perseverance, and belief in their potential. Like a mighty tree that grows stronger through the storms, these young musicians had faced their struggles and emerged victorious, their roots planted deep in the soil of their dedication.
